Jim Chesebrough will again be our conductor. We will rehearse at the Claremont Creative Center in Claremont NH on Mon-Tue July 20-21.
Schedule of the concert venues and other details are available on the Bandmembers website: www.bandmembers.yankeebrassband.org/ybbSchedule2026.html
Below is important information and instructions so please read this letter carefully.
Electronic Communication
Most of the communication is being done on-line through the 2026 Tour web site located at:
www.bandmembers.yankeebrassband.org. You may want to copy the address and paste it directly into your Internet browser then bookmark the site.
If you have difficulty accessing the site please contact Steve Gasiorowski (see contact information below).
The web site contains several links that will provide information of interest including concert sponsor information,
as well as activities. Information is also provided regarding accommodations.
*** The 2026 Tour web site will be updated as necessary to provide information of importance and interest.
Please check this site frequently. ***
Logistics
Steve Gasiorowski is this year's program coordinator and will be handling the arrangements for the 2026 concerts, rehearsal sites
and other logistics. Steve Gasiorowski and Chris Troiano will be dealing with musicians, instruments and working with Jim Chesebrough
on other music needs. If you have questions about the 2026 events or logistics please contact Steve (see contact information below).
If possible, please bring a solid, black music stand that you would like to use for rehearsals and traveling. We will not need to bring music stands to the rehearsal site.
Everyone will be responsible for transporting their own music stand(s) to concert sites.
We have a limited number of music stands available for the week.
If you will need one, please let Steve Gasiorowski know.
Travel Instructions and other information about the week are posted on the 2026 Tour website. Please check that site frequently for updates.
Concert Attire
Concert attire will be the dark blue jacket,
white Levi 501 button-front jeans, White collared shirt, red kepi, black socks, black shoes, and red suspenders. Each member of the band will be responsible for buying
the appropriate jeans. Jackets, suspenders, and kepis will be supplied by the organization. If you do not have a jacket please contact
Mary Gasiorowski or Steve Gasiorowski
ASAP.
We have decided to have a "hot-weather" alternative to the wool jackets. Please plan to wear a white, long-sleeved button-down
collared shirt. We will supply red-suspenders and black ties. When the weather is hot, we will take off the jackets and still be in a nice "uniform".
Schedule
Information about the schedule is available on the 2026 Tour web site.
Accomodations
Claremont has rather limited lodging options. One option is the recently opened Common Man Inn which is only a 5 minute walk to our rehearsal site.
After our rehearsals on Monday and Tuesday, our concert venues are located more in the central part of New Hampshire so accommodations near Manchester NH may be more convenient. There are many options in that area.
Yours truly,
Steve Gasiorowski
